TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION-2026

JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026

Our Institution meaningfully celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2026. The Programme commenced with invocation by Ms. Ananya & group. Dr. Sandhyarani D, Professor & Internee Coordinator welcomed the guests and gathering.

Dr. Sai Sudha, 3rd year PG scholar, Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa, Ms. Supritha R C, IV BAMS Student, Dr Sapana, Internee & Dr. Sridev. D. K, II year PG Scholar, Dept. of GP & PhD studies in Roga Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan delivered Guruvandana by quoting the values given by guru in molding a beautiful sculptured future for their students and thanked all the teachers.

Dr. Sanjay K S, Dean, Ayush Faculty, RGUHS, Bengaluru was felicitated as “Best-Teacher” on this occasion. He spoke about the Exemplary Education System being offered in JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, and also on importance of upgradation to recent advances in education methodology.

On the same occasion, Dr. Subhash Chandra Bose, PG Coordinator & Professor, Dept. of PG & PhD Studies in Roga Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan of our Institution was felicitated as “Best-Teacher”.

Vice principals - Dr Shivaprasad Hudeda & Dr Srihari S addressed the gathering and conveyed their best wishes on the occasion and signified the role of Teachers in students’ growth and development in present era.

Dr. Sarbeswar Kar, Principal, delivered the Presidential address, in which he shared the milestones achieved by the Institution along with current academic activities being held in the institution. He also highlighted the morals of Guru-Shishya Parampara in the present era.

In her Vote of Thanks, Dr. Deepa C Patil, Professor & Head, Dept. of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa thanked everyone and expressed that every Teacher plays a very important role in achieving the goals set by the students.

Dr. Chinmayee & Dr Prerana, PG Scholars, Department of PG Studies in Prasooti tantra evam Streeroga were the Masters of ceremony. All the UG Students, PG Scholars, Internees, Teaching Faculty actively participated in this programme.
