SWACHHATA HI SEVA CAMPAIGN – 2024
Swachhata Hi Seva (Cleanliness is Service) campaign is an initiative launched by the Government of India to promote cleanliness and sanitation across the country. This year observation of Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign was held from 17.09.2024 to 02.10.2024.
NSS Unit of our Institution organised various programmes during this period to observe Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. Key Initiatives and activities undertaken are Cleaning Activities in institutional Premises, adopted village and Heritage places, Plantation programmes and Various competitions on the theme swachhata.
CLEANING ACTIVITIES
On 26.09.2024 Cleaning Activities were conducted in adopted village, Hanchya, Mysuru. More than 30 NSS Volunteers and 100 School children participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign and Swacchata of School and surrounding areas were conducted and more than 70kgs of wastage and plastic were collected and disposed properly.
On 30.09.2024 Cleaning Activities were conducted in Heritage Place, Jaganmohan Palace, Mysuru. More the 30 NSS Volunteers were participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign and Swacchata of surrounding areas of palace were conducted and more than 50kgs of wastages and plastics were collected and disposed.
