NATIONAL AYURVEDA DAY CELEBRATIONS BY DEPT OF PG STUDIES IN KAYACHIKITSA
On the eve of 8th National Ayurveda Day 2023, Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa has organized Pick & Speak competition on various topics related to Ayurveda on 4th November 2023 at JSS High School, Sidhartha nagar, Mysuru to create awareness among students on Ayurveda.
Dr. Deepa. C. Patil, Professor, Dept of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa spoke on relevance of Ayurveda in current scenario.
38 Students from 8th 9th 10th standard of both Kannada and English medium participated in the competition. Students were given different topics like Importance of Ghee, Buttermilk, Curd, Milk, Honey, Aloe vera, Tulasi, Haridra, Pepper, Ginger, Garlic, Amalaki in Ayurveda and day today life. Importance of yoga, Meditation, Sleep, Healthy food, Water intake, etc in maintaining good health.
1st Prize was won by Miss Mandara and Mr Rishivardhan from 10th std bagged the 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize won by Mr Jeevan from 9th Std.
