FREE HEALTH CAMP AT SRI SUTTUR KSHETRA
Department of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga had organized a Free Medical camp for B.Ed and D.Ed students of Sutturu College on 27/3/2024 to mark International Women’s Day – 2024 and also Health Awareness Program on Menstrual Problems.
The camp started with divine blessings of Shri S.P. Udayashankar Buddi and was led by Dr Usha D T, Associate Professor of Dept. of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga ,Dr Nanda K O, Assistant Professor Dept of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga and Dr Tejaswini K R, Assistant Professor , Dept. of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga, Dr Lakshmi, Assistant Professor , Dept. of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga along with PG scholars Dr Anushree A B C, Dr Shilpa, Dr Sukanya & Interns Dr Bhavana, Dr Chethan from the Department of PG Studies in Prasooti Tantra and Stree Roga.
Following which Guest lecture was delivered to the students by the faculty on Menstrual Hygiene, Menstrual irregularities etc.,
Around 120 women with ailments related to menstrual irregularities, Primary Dysmenorrhea, Pre-menstrual syndrome, white discharge etc., condition were assessed & prescribed free medication.
