GUEST LECTURE ON CRITICAL ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT OF TWAK VIKARA
Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa, of our institution had organized a Guest lecture on 10-07-2024 for IV BAMS students, PG Scholars and staff.
The Guest Speaker for the session was Dr. Tapasbrata Tripathy, Professor and HOD, Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa and Manasa Roga, SDM College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan.
Sir delivered shared his knowledge and views on the topic “Critical analysis and management of Twak Vikaras.” by sharing unique case stories, wherein he also marked the importance of appropriate history taking which includes diet and lifestyle, and also explained about differentiating various presentations of skin in different conditions. Sir also shared his vast experience in treating skin disorders by displaying images success stories with pictures of cases he has treated. Sir also mentioned the Importance of Shodhana in preventing Twak Vikaras followed by explaining different concepts of Rasayana for the same.
More than 100 students and staff got benefited by the Lecture.
