BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM

Dept. of PG Studies in Roga Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan, Dept. of Kriya Sharira, NSS Unit and Youth Red Cross Unit of our Institution in association with JSS Hospital, Mysuru, organized a Blood Donation Camp in commemoration of 110th Jayanthi celebration of Jagadguru Rajagurutilaka Dr. Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji on 23-09-2025 at JSS Ayurveda Hospital, Mysuru.

The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Pallavi, Blood Bank Officer, JSS Hospital, Mysuru. In her speech, Madam stressed on the importance of voluntary blood donation, she also highlighted the merits of voluntary blood donation and congratulated the Institution for conducting such blood donation camps every year.

Dr Sarbeswar Kar, Principal and Medical Superintendent, JSS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru spoke about the blood donation, it serves the purpose of one among the Trividha Dasoha i.e., Arogya Dasoha and encouraged the blood donors with best wishes and thanked Dr. Pallavi and team, Blood Bank Division, JSS Hospital for their association in successfully conducting this blood donation program.

All Consultants, Teaching and Non-Teaching faculties were present in the program along with PG Scholars, Interns and UG students.

More than 120 donors (students and faculties) were screened, and 56 units of blood was collected from the donors.
