Shareera Rachana Guest Lecture Series Exam Orientation Program 24/12/2020- 31/12/2020

For better orientation of students towards the final university exams, a Guest Lecture Series is being conducted by the Dept of Shareera Rachana, JSSAMC from 24/12/2020 onwards. Total seven lectures were conducted.

The series was inaugurated in the respected presence of Dean Dr. Rajesh Udapudi sir, Dr. Shelly Divyadarshan, HOD, Dr. Alka Jayavanthkumar, Professor, Dr. Chaitra.S, Assistant Professor. Inauguration ceremony was done and with the Presidencial speech it was started.

Ms.Sweekruti, 4th BAMS student invocated the god Sharada. Dr.Shelly Divyadarshan welcomed the guests. Respected Principal addressed the students and other faculties also encouraged them with short speeches. Dr.Chaitra.S mastered the ceremony. Dr. Madhusudan helped with the online session. Lecture was conducted online in zoom meeting. To reach more than 100 students, lecture was presented live on YouTube college channel. Almost 100 students benefitted from the lecture.

All the students were enthusiastic and attentive throughout the series. At the end of the session, question answer time was given. It was greatly helpful session for students.

Dr.Suharini Sulgante Vice Principal & Asso.Professor, Dept. of Shareera Rachana, Shree Hingulambika Ayurveda Medical College, Kalburgi spoke about Marma Shareera. 83 students were present in the session.

Day 2 : 26/12/2020

Dr.Anup Bhosgikar, Asso. Professor, Dept. of Shareera Rachana, N.K.Jabshetty Ayurveda Medical College & PG Center, Bidar delivered a lecture on Myology. 77 students were present in the session.

Day 3 : 27/12/2020

Dr.Nithin Kumar, Asso. Professor, Dept. of Shareera Rachana, SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Udupi explained Ayurveda Shareera Rachana in the view of exam. 65 students were present in the session.

Day 4 : 28/12/2020

Dr. Santhosh Dixit, Professor Dept of Shareera Rachana, Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, Bengaluru delivered a guest lecture on Osteology. 80 students were present in the session.

Day 5 : 29/12/2020

Dr.Jacintha Meena D’Souza Vice Principal, Professor & HOD, Dept. of Shareera Rachana, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, Mangalore spoke on the topic Digestive System. 83 students were present in the session.

Day 6 : 30/12/2020

Dr.Gururaj.B Jahgirdar, Asso. Professor, Dept. of Shareera Rachana, SDM Institute of Ayurveda & Hospital, Bengaluru Shared his knowledge about Central Nervous System. 86 students were present in the session.

Day 7: 31/12/2020

Dr.Prasanna,Asso. Professor, Dept. of Shareera Rachana, SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Hassan delivered a lecture on Male Reproductive System. 81 students were present in the session.

The Guest Lecture series Rachanavadhana-2020 came to an end with valedictory function, presided over by Principal Dr.Sarbeswar Kar sir. It was started with Invocation by Miss Rashmi, I BAMS student. Dr. Shelly Divyadarshan HOD, welcomed the guest and gathering, Dr.Suryakanth Ghule, Asso. Professor, Dept of Shareera Rachana, GAMC, Bengaluru was chief guest of the function. Dr.Alka Jayavanthkumar, Professor read out the report of the Guest lecture series. Dr. Madhusudhan.B.G, Asso. Professor rendered vote of thanks.
