'UNNATI-2023': A National-level Neurological Seminar Jointly Organized by JSS Institutions
Mysuru, June 8, 2023: JSS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, JSS Medical College, JSS Physiotherapy College, JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing, JSS College of Nursing, and Schools joined hands to organize 'UNNATI-2023,' a prestigious National-level Neurological seminar. The event took place on June 8, 2023, at the Sri Rajendra Centenary Hall, located within the JSS Hospital Premises in Mysuru.
With participation from over 550 representatives from various Health Sciences Institutions across different states, 'UNNATI-2023' emerged as a significant platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. The seminar witnessed the exhibition of more than 210 research papers and 30 research posters, showcasing the latest advancements in the field.
The seminar was inaugurated by Sri Eshwar V. Basavareddy, the esteemed Director of Morarji Desai Health Center, New Delhi. In his inaugural address, Sri Basavareddy emphasized the importance of Yoga, acknowledging India's role as a Vishwaguru in this ancient practice. He emphasized the effectiveness of Yoga in overcoming the stress prevalent in modern life and its significant contribution to controlling mental senses, thereby preventing neurological problems. Sri Basavareddy also highlighted the words of Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi at the G20 summit, emphasizing the potential of Ayurveda and other combined therapies as a ray of hope for the entire mankind. The seminar witnessed the release of the 'UNNATI-2023 Souvenir' during the inauguration.
Adding spiritual grace to the occasion, His Holiness Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji blessed the seminar with his presence. In his blessings, he highlighted the relevance of integrated medical science in today's world and called for further research in this area.
The chief guest, Sri R. Mahesh, Director of the Medical Education Division at JSS Mahavidyapeetha, expressed his views on the aptness of integrated medical science research for the present healthcare system in his address.
Presiding over the program was Sri C.G. Besturmath, the Executive Secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha. In his address, he emphasized the need for collaboration among all medical sciences worldwide, with the ultimate goal of serving the welfare of humanity.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by an invocation rendered by Dr. Kavya and her team. Dr. Sarbeswar Kar, Principal of JSS Ayurveda Medical College, warmly welcomed the delegates and guests. Organizing Secretary Dr. Veena G. Rao provided a brief introduction to the program, setting the tone for the insightful sessions that followed. Dr. Suma R., Principal of JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing, delivered a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors. The program was skillfully managed by Dr. Madhusudan B.G.
