Report on Vrutti Darshan- Kamala (Jaundice) Updates Organised by the Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa

The department of PG studies in Kayachikitsa, Organized Scientific webinar in hybrid mode on “Kamala (Jaundice) updates” under Vrutti Darshan- Career Guidance for Budding doctors at JSSAMC on 21st May 2022, for PG Students and internees. Key note for the program was done by the Principal Dr. Sarbeshwar Kar and the program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr Kiran M Goud, Principal & CMO SKAMCH&RC, Bengaluru by giving brief knowledge about Kamala.
The Resource Persons for the Sessions were Dr Prashanth A S Principal, Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Hubli & Dean, Faculty of ISM&H, RGUHS –Bengaluru, Dr. B Gurubasavaraja, Senior Professor & Former Chief Medical Officer JSSAMC, Mysuru, Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda, Reaserch officer CCRAS Bhubhaneswar, Dr. Hari Venkatesh, Head R& D, Sri Sri Tattva Bengaluru and Dr Mahesh K Senior physician, Clinical research Department Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal, Malappuram, Kerala, enlightened the participants with their experience sharing.
PG students from the Department of Panchakarma, Swasthavritta, Roganidana, Shalya Tantra, Dravyaguna, Koumarabritya and Rasashastra presented on the topic Kamala.
Dean, Dr. Rajesh A Udapudi, HOD of the Kayachikitsa department Dr. Beena MD, Dr. Deepa C Patil, Professor, other staff members from various departments was present in the program.
