WORLD POPULATION DAY – 2024
On the occasion of "World Population Day - 2024", Department of PG studies in Swasthavritta, JSSAMC, Mysuru, had organized a guest lecture on 11-07-2024 for the II BAMS students, PG scholars and teaching faculty.
Dr. Sumanth Mallikarjuna Majgi, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine, Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, Mysore was the invited guest speaker, who spoke on the topic - Population Indicators and National Population Policy and its importance for doctors.
He highlighted about the drastic raise of population in India and its adverse effects on the growth and development of the nation.
Total 104 students were benefited by the guest lecture.
