VRUTTI DARSHANA: TWAK VIKARA 27th May 2024
Department of PG studies in Kayachikitsa of our institution had organized a scientific seminar on Twak Vikara under Vrutti Darshan, 11th episode - career guidance for budding doctors on 27th May 2024 for PG scholars and interns.
The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest- Dr Mythrey. R. C, Prof & Head, Dept of PG & PhD studies in Kayachikitsa, Govt. Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru.
The program was followed by Scientific Deliberations done by PG Scholars Dr Anusha N, 3rd Year PG Scholar Dept of Roganidana & Vikrithi Vijnana; Dr GS Sahana, 1st Year PG Scholar Dept of Dravya Guna; Dr Krithika R Aithal, 2nd Year PG Scholar Dept of RSBK; Dr Ganavi CV, 3rd Year PG Scholar Dept of Swasthavritta; Dr Reetu Mahesh CM, 3rd Year PG Scholar Dept of Kayachikitsa; Dr Kavya B, 2nd Year PG Scholar Dept of Panchakarma; Dr Kiran Bobade, 3rd Year PG Scholar Dept of Prasootitantra & Streeroga; Dr Kiran T Dhaygude, 3rd Year PG Scholar Dept of Kaumarabhritya, of JSSAMC.
The program later witnessed address by the Chief Guest. Topic of the scientific session was, TWAK VIKARA – REMEDIAL MEASURE & COSMETOLOGY. With her excellent academic and professional experience of more than 18 years in Kayachikitsa with dermatology specialization, Ma’am has treated many challenging dermatological cases of modern era and has Special interest in treating cosmetic problems through Ayurvedic remedies. The scientific session was very informative which included the concepts such as preventive management - curative management of Twak Vikara; Cosmetology products, their harmful chemicals & their possible side effects; Cosmetic Therapy; Ayurvedic Beautifying procedures; Ayurvedic way of eye care, lip care, dental care, hair care; Internal Cosmetics; Career guidance in the field of Ayurvedic Cosmetology.
As a token of gratitude, the Chief Guest was honoured by Dr Rajesh A Udapudi, Dr Beena MD, Dr Sandhya Rani D & Dr Aparna Unny.
