I BAMS TRANSITIONAL CURRICULUM INDUCTION PROGRAM - 2024- 2025 BATCH 11-11-2024 to 28-11-2024
As per the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine mandate, our Institution conducted Transitional Curriculum Induction programme for 2024- 2025 Batch FROM 11-11-2024 TO 28-11-2024.
Inaugural Ceremony was conducted on 11-11-2024 in which Ashwini shloka pathana was carried out by students and gave an apt start. Dr. Sarbeswar Kar, Principal, welcomed all the guests and new students along with their parents. Ms. Shreya G K, First year senior UG student shared her opinion on her journey of one year here in College and congratulated all her juniors. Dr. Kishor Kumar Ramakrishna, Professor & Head, Dept. of Integrative Medicine, NIMHANS, Bengaluru was the invited Chief Guest, who in his address remembered his early days of BAMS, highlighted the growth and acceptance of Ayurveda in recent days, significance of Research and invited all to visit Integrative Medicine Department in NIMHANS. He also congratulated all the students and their parents about choosing this noble profession.
Over the next 15 days, throughout the course of transitional curriculum, freshers were engaged on various topics by in-house faculties and also by invited luminaries of Ayurveda. Few to mention are

Day 15, the last day has started with Dhanwanthari pooja and then Valedictory programme was scheduled. Dr. Nanda. K. O, Coordinator of this Transitional Curiculum presented the Report of Transitional Curriculum. Dr. Suma. R, Principal, JSS Institute of Speech & Hearing was the Chief Guest. Students were also given prizes for winning various activities conducted during the 15 days.
