RASADRAVYA SUCHANA – QUIZ ON RASA SHASTRA & BHAISHAJYA KALPANA
A unique quiz competition “RASADRAVYA SUCHANA” was conducted for 2nd professional BAMS students by the Dept of PG & PhD Studies in Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana.
The quiz was based on the compendium “RASADRAVYA SUCHANA” prepared by the students under the guidance of Principal, Dr Sarbeswar Kar. Under this quiz series, initially two rounds of written quiz was conducted for all 100 students. The top 30 scoring students were selected and grouped into 5 different teams. 3 rounds of oral quiz was conducted to determine the final winners. The written rounds were conducted to assess cognitive level of students whereas the oral rounds was related to higher levels of learning.
First & Second round of written quiz was held on 5th & 6th November 2024. The first round of Oral quiz was held on 19th November 2024 with 5 groups, each group comprising of 6 students. The second round was held on 10th December with 4 groups. The final round of Oral quiz was conducted on 8th January 2025 among the top three groups. Dr. Manoj Kumar Samantaray, Pharmacy In-charge, Sri Sri Tattva, Bengaluru was the Chief Guest.
First prize was bagged by team of Ms. Abhijna K Murthy, Ms. Sakshi P Gowda, Ms. Gnaneshwari, Ms. Vasushree, Ms. Sahana V, Ms. Sahana M C. Second Prize was bagged by the team of Ms. Madhushree, Ms. Anusha D K, Mr. Nischal, Ms. Hema, Ms. Kavya Joshi, Ms. Chaitra C. Third Prize was bagged by team of Ms. Aishwarya, Ms. R Neha, Ms. Jhansi Lakshmi, Ms. Radhika, Ms. Anisha, Ms. Poornima.
Consolation prizes were bagged by Ms. Thanmayi, Ms. Yashaswini M, Ms. Harshini S, Ms. Vaishnavi, Mr. Rohith, Ms. Muskan, Ms. Sampada, Ms. Shreedevi, Ms. Manasa, Ms. Spandana, Mr. Faizan, Mr. Karthik R V.
Certificates were distributed to winners and President of the program Dr. Sarbeswar Kar stressed upon the participation in quiz and motivated students to achieve big.
