MoU between JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru and ICAR JSS Krishi Vigyan Kendra College, Sutturu
In a significant move towards fostering collaboration in the fields of healthcare, agriculture, and sustainable development, JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru and ICAR JSS Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sutturu have formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed with the aim of promoting integrated research, innovation, and education at the intersection of Ayurveda and modern agricultural practices.
On 8th November 2024, a significant partnership was forged between JSS Ayurveda Medical College and ICAR JSS Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed at the JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru and marks the beginning of 3 years collaboration aimed at integrating Ayurveda with agricultural practices to promote sustainable farming, health, and well-being in rural communities.
Collaborations under this MoU are focused on specify area of collaboration. The MOU is intended to expedite research and development of new methods and technologies in relation to the field of medicinal plants that can be implemented with the support of ICAR JSS Krishi Vigyan Kendra missions as well as aimed at enhancing the quality of research and education at JSSAMC.
Both JSSAMC and ICAR JSS KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA believe that this Collaboration will contribute to more efficient resource utilization, avert or minimize duplication, and accelerate methods and technology advancement. The two organizations further believe that successful Collaboration will leverage beneficial results via method and technology transfer, education, and training.
