SAMSKARA PG ORIENTATION PROGRAM INAUGURAL PROGRAME
Inaugural Ceremony of samskara – PG Orientation Program for newly joined PG scholars of the institution was on 2nd January 2025. The program is scheduled for 15 days from 02-01-2025 to 20-01-2025 as prescribed by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, New Delhi.
Chief Guest Dr. Mruthunjaya. K., Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru addressed the New PG Scholars and motivated them to come up with Innovative Research and also emphasized on importance and need for research and innovation in the field of Ayurveda. He also stressed upon the awareness regarding medicinal plants and promoting traditional food and healthy life style. He also highlighted that research on medicinal plants by study on phytoconstituents with mode of actions with scientific paper presentation and patents are the need of the hour. The various routine practices of Ayurveda like Chyawanaprashana daily as disease prevention regime which helps to provide daily calcium and micronutrients required for the body and its rationality in health promotive measures practiced since many years was highlighted.
Few senior PG Scholars shared their opinions regarding the college and hospital, 2 newly joined PG Scholars also expressed their gratitude for joining JSS Ayurveda Medical college for pursuing their post-graduation.
Presidential address was delivered by Principal, Dr. Sarbeswar Kar. He also welcomed all PG Scholars and congratulated for selecting this college. He also addressed about discipline and gratitude they should carry for lifetime and also to focus on research and innovations.
All Faculties, PG Scholars and 40 new PG scholars with their parents were present.
