GANDHI JAYANTI & SWACHH BHARAT DIVAS 2024
NSS Unit of our institution celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Swachh Bharat Divas on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024.
Patriotic Bhajan was rendered by Sumedha Bhat & Team.
After Bhajan, Dr Apoorva, Internee expressed her views on Gandhi Jayanti and Swacch Bharat Divas.
Dr Visal S Kumar, Assistant Professor administered the Swacchata Oath to our NSS Volunteers, inspiring them to embrace the values of cleanliness, hygiene and community service.
After Swacchata Oath, prize distribution ceremony was conducted to the prize winners who participated in various competition held on the occasion of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan.
Guest Speaker Dr Vidya Narayan, Associate Professor, remembered the sacrifice of Gandhiji and spoke about salt revolution, Dandi March and other freedom related activities lead by Bapuji.
Dr Nischita, RMO, JSS Ayurveda Hospital, remembered about the sacrifices of the Lal Bahadur Shastri to uplift our Nation.
Presidential address was rendered by Dr Beena M D, Professor, Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa who wished the gathering on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and talked about the importance of contribution of Gandhiji towards Nation, Non Violence and Swaccha Bharath.
