DONATION TO POOR PATIENT BY OUR STUDENTS
Our students are our strength. Proud moment for JSS Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital because of the incomparable stand taken by the Fourth year BAMS students who showed their humanity. Students paid the treatment charges for a cancer patient with poor financial background.
A female patient aged 40 years Diagnosed with Rectal cancer stage 4, with lung and liver metastasis was admitted in our hospital for severe pain and other complications. She is feeling much better after the treatment and was discharged. During their clinical classes, our students got to know about their financial situation and they have paid the entire treatment charges and also assured to pay for the future medication. They also assured to pay the cost for the books and to pay the college fee of her daughter who is also a BAMS student. Both patient and her daughter expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the students. It was a great moment of humanity expressed from our students.
