FREE MEDICAL CAMP on 21-07-2023
Department of PG & Ph.D Studies of Shalya Tantra conducted a free medical health checkup camp for Forest Officers and Guards of N Begur Range of Bandipur National Park on 21-07-2023 . Dr Adithya J V And Dr Poornima Jalawadi along with PG scholars and Internees screened the patients for their ailments.
It was jointly organized by Volunteer Mr Girish Prativadi and Rotary Club, H D Kote chapter with our institution. Range Forest Officer Mr Puttaraju inaugurated the camp and spoke regarding getting awareness regarding general diseases and their home remedies which will be crucial when they are working amidst forest and they will have to use natural herbs available for their treatment purpose.
About 55 beneficiaries were screened for general medical ailments and they were also given free medicine samples. The camp was conducted from 9.30AM to 2:00 PM. As part of Doctors Day Celebration, all the doctors were felicitated on this occasion. NEWSPAPER COVERAGE:
