DOCTORS’ DAY CELEBRATION
In Memory of great Indian Dr. B.C. Roy, JSS Ayurveda Medical College celebrated Doctor’s Day on Wednesday, 10-07-2024 with great enthusiasm where staff, students, and esteemed guests gathered to commemorate the contributions of doctors towards healthcare. As goes the tradition of our institution of felicitating an eminent Doctor on this occasion, Dr. Tapasbrata Tripathy, Professor & Head, Dept. of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa & Manasa Roga, SDM College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan was felicitated.
Dr. Tapasbrata Tripathy in his speech, addressed on Ayurvedic treatment of skin disorders. He shared his extensive experience in treating various skin disorders using Ayurvedic principles and practices. Common skin conditions discussed included eczema, psoriasis, acne, and allergic dermatitis. Explanations of Ayurvedic remedies, dietary recommendations, lifestyle changes, and therapeutic procedures used in Ayurveda to manage and treat skin disorders were shared. Examples of successful treatment outcomes using Ayurvedic methods were presented, highlighting the efficacy and benefits. He concluded with heartfelt thanks and applauded the efforts by JSS Institutions in serving the society and needy.
The Guest of Honour for the event was Dr. Gurubasavaraja, Former Chief Medical Officer, JSS Ayurveda Hospital, Mysuru. The Presidential address was rendered by Dr. K. L. Revanna Swamy, Director I/C, Medical Education Division, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru.
The celebration made a lasting impression on attendees, inspiring a deeper appreciation for Ayurveda's role in treating dermatological conditions. Overall, the celebration was a meaningful tribute to doctors and their tireless dedication to improving health outcomes.
