BONE MINERAL DENSITY CAMP ON 20-10-2023
Department of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa in association with Gufic Bioscience Ltd Health Care Division- Bengaluru had organized Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Camp on the account of World Osteoporosis Day & on the eve of World Senior Citizen Day on 20-10-2023, Friday at JSS Ayurveda Hospital, Mysuru.
Dean & HOD of Kayachikitsa Dr. Rajesh A Udapudi, Associate Professor Dr. Beena M D, Assistant Professors Dr Unnikrishnan P M and Dr Anu Krishna P from the Department of Kayachikitsa were chief consultants. Around 100 patients from in and around Mysuru registered for BMD Camp and availed free Checkup & Consultation. Mr. Ravi, Area Manager, Gufic Bioscience coordinated the activities well. Patients were educated by the consultants regarding the diet and lifestyle adaptation for the prevention of osteoporosis and their role in treatment.
