FREE MEDICAL CAMP AT JSS VRIDDHASHRAMA
Department of Post Graduate Studies in Kayachikitsa conducted Free Health Check-up camp and Health awareness talk on the eve of “National Ayurveda Day” on 26.10.2024 at JSS Vriddhashrama, Aravindanagar, Mysuru. On this occasion, Dr. Deepa Patil, Professor, of PG Studies in Kayachikitsa gave the awareness talk on common old age disorders and their management through Ayurveda. Dr. Rachana. A. J, 2nd year PG Scholar explained the do’s and don’ts to be followed in old age along with meditation techniques. Dr. Sushmitha N G, 2nd year PG Scholar gave the awareness on personal hygiene to be followed to prevent skin disorders.
Inmates of the camp took the benefit of CBG and general health check-up. The total beneficiaries were 17.
